Ananya Nagalla is an upcoming and talented Indian actress who works within the Telugu movie industry. She is known for her acting in movies like Vakeel Saab and Mallesham.
Birth and early life
Ananya Nagalla was born on 1st August 1996 in a place called Sattupalli of Khammam district, Telangana. Her father is a businessman named Venkateshwara rao and her mother’s name is Vishnu Priya. Their family moved to Hyderabad later for Ananya’s studies.
Education and job before acting
Ananya graduated with a degree in Engineering from Raja Mahendra school Of Engineering, Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana.
She then went on and worked in Infosys as a software engineer. She acted in an a few short films and internet Series like Shaadi and Cream Biscuits while she was working. Ananya later joined an acting institute in Manikonda for proper preparation for her acting career.
Acting career and initial acting days
One day, the film producer of Mallesham came to their acting institute to search for proper talent for the movie. The producer was not initially impressed with her performance. Ananya took a break from her job to act in this movie.
On another day, a casting director for Mallesham was auditioning other women for the main role. Impressed by her improvement in acting in the next auditions, the director roped her for the lead role in the film.
The movie became an excellent hit and her performance was praised by critics as well as audiences. Even her movie co-star Priyadarshi praised her for her acting in the movie.
Software engineer-turned-actress next acted in the big movie “Vakeel Saab”, a remake of Hindi film Pink. The film additionally stars Pawan Kalyan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali in main roles.
She also appeared in the sci-fi drama titled Play Back in 2021. Her upcoming projects are Maestro and Shakuntalam.

Awards and nominations
Ananya was nominated for the SIIMA award for the best female debut in telugu for her movie Mallesham. She had also been nominated for SIIMA Short Film Award for Best actress for her acting in Shaadi.
